You can also get a dose of local history at the Pensacola Lighthouse, an active historical landmark. The lighthouse offers sweeping views of the Gulf Coast and is worth a visit.

Fast Eddies Fun Center is also home to the Pensacola Children’s Museum, which explains Pensacola’s rich history. The museum’s two floors are filled with interactive exhibits. Another fun activity at Fast Eddies is the Dolphin Cruise. This unique activity takes place on a converted 50-foot twin-diesel Navy Launch. There are 49 seats and a deck for taking photos. The boat passes Fort Pickens, Pensacola Pass, and the Pensacola Naval Air Station Lighthouse. The journey takes approximately two hours. It’s a must-do when visiting Pensacola.

While you’re in Pensacola, you might also want to visit the National Naval Aviation Museum. It’s the largest in the state, and contains over 150 crafts. Admission is free, and it’s open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Visitors must have a photo ID and use a specific gate. This museum is not recommended for children under the age of five. If you’re under eighteen, you might want to skip this attraction altogether. Check this out
